Representatives from the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers (WCSM) took part in the City of London Lord Mayor’s Show last weekend to raise eye care awareness.
The show’s message was ‘Look after your vision’ and it featured large Snellen charts, a two metre-wide Lemtosh frame from Moscot London, Ishihara boards spelling WCSM and umbrellas with retinal images inside.
The design and materials of the WCSM’s contributions to the show were devised by Cubitts and the bright yellow and green sweatshirts were sponsored by Nikon UK. Optical professionals from the company volunteered to walk in the parade and paid for their own umbrellas.
