The 3D-printed eyewear uses 47% less carbon to produce than fossil fuel polymers

Weareannu’s 3D-printed eyewear has been made more sustainable after the German brand started using a recyclable plant-based polymer called PA11, which uses 47% less carbon to produce than fossil fuel-based polymers.
A new range offers twists on classic shapes with new colour options, including dusk, stone, aubergine and slate. Shapes include the round 04S, which has accentuated hinges and a keyhole bridge, or the 08L, which is a bold cat’s-eyed front with a chunky hinge, while the 18L has a rounded square silhouette.
