Boots is to appear in front of a GOC FTP committee
Boots Opticians Professional Services is to appear in front of a General Optical Council fitness to practice committee later this month (December 17-19).
The multiple has been accused of failing to ensure the clinical concerns raised by a member of staff were managed appropriately. The Council alleged the company also revealed the source of the complaint to the subject of the disclosures – who was later responsible for supervising the individual who raised the initial clinical concerns.
