Wobbly Wednesday will take place on November 4 to raise awareness of eye condition, which affects around 1 in 1,000 people.

Among the promotional activities planned was to light up the Blackpool Tower in blue. Organisers Nystagmus Network called on practitioners to set up fundraising days or schedule a ‘Wobbly Wednesday Walkaround’ to boost awareness locally.

 

‘How far people walk is not important it’s spreading the wobbly word that counts,’ said Nystagmus Network chairman Richard Wilson.
