GOC survey on optical workforce and perceptions opened

A survey into registrant workforce and perceptions has been launched by the General Optical Council to gain views from optometrists, dispensing opticians and students.
The GOC said it was particularly interested to find out more about the challenges and opportunities faced in daily clinical roles, including job satisfaction, work pressures and career development plans.
Marcus Dye, acting director of regulatory strategy, said: ‘This year’s survey will help us to assess whether job satisfaction levels and career aspirations have changed.’ #
