Yorkshire unit acquires laser

Optometrists from throughout Yorkshire recently joined The Yorkshire Eye Hospital to officially mark its recent introduction of a laser eye treatment service, having acquired a £500,000 Z100 excimer laser from Bausch & Lomb.

Speaking at the event, Baush & Lomb's commercial director Andrew Webb said, 'The addition of the market-leading laser further reinforces Yorkshire Eye Hospital's credentials as a true centre of excellence.

Patients both locally and nationally can have great confidence and pride in this hospital's unique capabilities.

There are few hospitals nationally that can provide the services of 19 consultant ophthalmologists in a dedicated eye health hospital.'
