New charity Saving Essex Eyes named the winners of its poster competition for school children aged 5-14 at an event in Colchester last week.

Optometrist Niall Dorgan said: ‘The standard of entries was very high. We were so impressed by how much thought the children had put into their posters and pleased that they had considered the campaign’s message so carefully.’

The competition attracted 350 entries to be used towards the creation of a public poster. Pictured are the charity’s chair Niall Dorgan and trustee Louise Stanton, together with prize winners (l-r) Elle Day, Joey Davey, Sydney Grace Bright, Mya Barbieri and Cindy Wu.
