Zeiss has added to its suite of digital solutions with the new online ordering solution Visustore.
Created to improve processes, enhance expertise and drive revenues, the technology is used during consultation to provide information to customers about their lens choice.
A cross-sectional display allows patients to examine lens thickness and a 3D view enables a better understanding of the exact shape and dimensions. Other features include progression lens assistance, product filters, ability to connect to other tracers and calculation of permitted parameters for a select lens type.
The company added that integration with existing management software made the ‘ordering process appear seamless’.
