GW is launching his Spring/ Summer 2012 collection at Specsavers Tottenham Court Road in London tonight marking the start of another busy week for Optician. With MIDO in Milan and the NCC in Utrecht just over there's another busy patch before Easter.

I'm not normally big on schmoozing and canapes but I really like practice events. Vision Express and Specsavers both went through a phase of open evenings to launch new collections but things have got a little quiet on that front recently.
The offer of an interview with Gok seemed like a good idea but I'm not sure I'll get too much time with GW.
One thing is for sure the optical business isn't quiet at all.
This week will see the Optician team in Scotland, various trips to London, meetings at the FMO, the GOC and the College of Optoms conference in Brighton. The end of the week sees Optician visit the Vision Expo in New York and best of all and event in Littlehampton. Sadly I'm down to do the latter and not the former.
