Gok Wan backs Monoqool eyewear

Danish manufacturer Monoqool has found its latest celebrity fan in fashion stylist Gok Wan. Optician attended the launch of Wan’s new eyewear collection for Specsavers at the Tottenham Court Road branch of Specsavers recently and chatted to him about some of the frame consultations he was carrying out.

However, before the interview started, Wan wanted the details of the Monoqool frames our reporter was wearing. ‘You have the most amazing glasses,’ said Wan. After highlighting details such as the corkscrew hinge and the photochromic NXT frame, Wan wanted to try the frames for himself. ‘You could just tell by looking at them that they were Scandinavian,’ he added.
