A simple tool

No, not me, I'm referring to the ACUMINDER - a simple online reminder tool that, according to a new survey, seems to work, improving replacement. Who would have thought that an email or text telling you when it was time to bin your lenses would make a difference to compliance? Well, according to 700 users, almost all (95 per cent) say it helps them remember when to change their lenses and two thirds (66 per cent) note that it has improved their contact lens replacement. The tool was developed by Vistakon but is open to all contact lens wearers and can also prompt wearers when to buy new lenses or organise an eye exam.
