Avoiding wine with dangerously unsubtle hints

Warnings about the visual dangers of drinking bootleg alcohol have been issued by the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).

It comes as customs seized 33,000 bottles of counterfeit vodka arriving from Latvia, reported The Independent.

With further instances involving wine bottles labelled 'Shardonnay', there is cause for concern on the high street and a vision risk to drinkers of such potions. Nausea, dizziness and even coma were other potential side effects.

Students in particular are at times known to be a little less discerning, but the primary message for all is that getting blind drunk on 'Sloe Joe's Gin' at the weekend isn't quite as trivial as it sounds.
