Bank Holiday Madness

Spring this year has been pretty good. Optrafair and the Optician awards went really well.

 The weather has been great and there has been a rash of Bank Holidays.

It's very difficult to moan at such times although I did hear some negative comments at Optrafair. Some businesses will lose sales, the shops simply aren't open for so long and who wants and eye exam when there are BBQs to go to. You have simply got to lie in the sun or put out the bunting.

The slight problem for those on a weekly magazine is that time doesn't stop. Not only has this left us with a series of short weeks, back to back, but everyone has gone on an extended break to link Easter, the royal nuptuals and the Bank Holiday Monday.
