Daring to do things differently, questioning the status quo and taking some risks isn’t easy but therein lies progress.
So delegates were told at last weekend’s combined iDay and NEG Conference. On Sunday the NEG talked about the digital age, myopia control and insurance. On the Monday at iDay independent practices met up under the banner of How to be a Retail Champion.
It’s very easy to scoff at meetings like this and think “it’s OK for them but not me”, but this year real practitioners, like you, were reporting on real change to their business and their futures. iDay took the risk to move from July 4 to November, squeezed out by too many optical events. It paid off.
