College of Optometrists responds to Visus

I am writing in response to Visus writes on January 29 2016.

I am glad to see that Visus acknowledges that the College has made a strong case for optometrists working in the field of glaucoma. The College believes that optometrists have an important role to play in the clinical care of those with a wide range of eye conditions. With an increasingly ageing population and a lack of funds in the NHS, we recognise that more eye care services will need to be delivered through new models of service delivery. These models can only work with increased input from optometrists.
