Comment: A waiting game for London

You wait ages for a London optical show to come along and then two turn up at the same time. The shenanigans surrounding a London optical show have left a lot of people bemused and a few exhibitors heavily out of pocket. First there was no show at all, then a show was proposed and failed and now there are two planned for early in 2014.

There can now be little doubt that there is an appetite for an optical exhibition in the non-Optrafair year but what exactly should it look like and who should run it?

To answer the first part of that question requires some research to be undertaken. How many optical folk will visit the capital, when will they come and what will they want to see when they get there?
