London still calling for optical show?

Last week's news of the cancellation of The Eye Show has far reaching ramifications, as Simon Jones reports

Many of the exhibitors who booked space at The Eye Show now stand to lose out financially. The extent to which remains uncertain, but organiser Emergexpo claimed it had appointed administrators Wilkins Kennedy to handle the administration process and hopes that losses can be limited (News 08.02.13).

The financial losses are significant. While some of the exhibitors and partners have negotiated contra deals on space, many now face the prospect of losing in excess of £10,000 and one such exhibitor is Anglo Italian Optical.
