From time to time I browse around the net looking to see what people are chatting about. Most of it is nonsense (QED?) but occassionally one stumbles across a nugget.
So it was that I was reading a forum post about overwear of contact lenses. It was a That's Life kind of challenge from an optom who had seen a patient wearing monthly extended wear lenses for a year. 'Can anyone beat that?' he asked. Too right they could. That's Life became the four Yorkshirement sketch as the tales became taller and the lenses became PMMA lenses embedded in the cornea after 11 years of wear.
