I'm sure everyone has their own favourite horror stories of contact lens non-compliance but some things never cease to amaze.
In my build up to the Alpe d'Huez triathlon I thought it would be useful to try out some extended wear contact lenses. This struck a chord with one of my sons who has never really got on with CLs, its the putting them in and taking them out he doesn't like.
He recently told me he was now using using extended wear CLs and "that these things are great, really comfortable and that he has never felt the need for comfort drops". While I am happy he has found a method of vision correction that suits him I wonder what I have got him into.
He tells me one of his friends, a girl, gets on so well with her's she has had the same pair in for three months. Cue lecture on the dangers of overwear.
