Tom Davies on the advantages of being able to spin a good yarn

There are not many British eyewear brands and, therefore, not many eyewear designers in the UK. You’d think we would all know each other, like members of some exclusive club, but we don’t, which is a shame really.  

If I was best pals with my fellow eyewear designers, I’d love to ask them how they got into it because it’s the number one question I’m asked. It happens about twice a week and I don’t mind at all, in fact I enjoy telling the story.  

But more recently I’ve been really enjoying asking everyone else how they get into their life-defining careers? It makes for fascinating conversation.
