Licking eyeballs and writing text books

I'm back in the office  after a week off.

The plan was a  gentle week tackling a few jobs around the house and some nice walks but I'm sporting a sore elbow after Mrs Optician and I decided to  break in a new allotment.

Just a typical day in the newsroom. Apparently there is a new craze in Japan for licking eyeballs while in Nottingham a new structure in the cornea, Dua's layer, has been discovered.

Apparently all optical textbooks will need rewriting. I'll settle for the next issue of Opticians

A week is a long time in journalism.
