I had the pleasure yesterday of hosting another Optician round table discussion.

These discussions are occassional lunches at which a group of folk from the optical community discuss an issue of the day. Not only are these lunches held at Rules restaurant, in my opinion one of the most pleasant places to eat in London, but it is also an opportunity to have a blue sky conversation about optics.
These discussions produce excellent output and they also foster new friendships and bring disparate parts of the optical business together.
They also remind me that optics in fortunate in the people it attracts. They are undeniably on the whole a very amiable bunch of people.
