It seems a while now since Optrafair happened and yet it is only a couple of weeks. This year saw me deciding to buy a lot of new equipment. What a selection there was! I would like to congratulate all those equipment companies who put up with the interminable questions, some even vaguely intelligent, and the determined haggling, from myself and my staff.

It is only when we actively take an interest in what is available to us to assist in the treatment of our patients that it hits home just what a plethora of skills we have and just how acutely responsible our work really is. I came away with only some of what I would really have wanted, but I am determined to continue to strive for even more upgrades on a rolling basis. Sadly my accountant and bank manager would have disowned me had I brought everything I wanted to!
