Optician goes a bit international

Anyone reading the blog over the next few days will be treated to a distinctly international feel. As well as a good number of the Optician team being in Munich for the Optical Fair this weekend also sees the start of the Oakley Transitions Ironman Team project in Monaco. Optician is the UK media partner for this event which takes place in Monaco this September and as part of that support Optician will be following the participants. This gruelling challenges requires the participants to swim 1.9km, cycle up a mountain 90km and then run a halkf marathon. The UK team member is Fiona Molloy ( the only woman on the team) and Optician will be following her progress both in the journal and online. Another element of the coverage will be a Oakley Transitions Ironman Team blog into which the particiapnts can put their progress thoughts and fears.
