Opticians get in on good news

The press is often accused of never printing good news but there seem to have been a spate of optician spots brain tumour-type stories of late.

 

brainmum.JPGThe first concerns a brain condition missed by doctors in a  mum from Burnley. The Telegraph reports that doctors had missed the condition which was picked up following a visit to an optician on the advice of a friend.

As with another  story in the Mirror about a girl who was saved by a ride on a rollercoaster she was also alerted by an optician to the worsening of her condition.
