SAUFLON LAUNCHES SECOND BASE CURVE FOR ITS CLARITI™ MONTHLY LENS

Contact lens and solution manufacturer Sauflon has launched a second base curve for its third generation silicone hydrogel monthly lens ClaritiTM.

Due to the success of ClaritiTM monthly, Sauflon have now increased the range to include a second base curve of 8.8mm to complement the existing 8.4mm base curve. The 8.8mm base curve is available in powers -0.50 to -6.00 in 0.25 steps and -6.50 to -10.00 in 0.50 steps with diagnostics available on request. This new base curve will not only allow a wider range of patients to benefit from the exceptional comfort and health of ClaritiTM monthly but gives even more prescribing choice for the optical practitioner.

ClaritiTM monthly was launched in September 2008 after extensive research and development to ensure a healthy daily wear silicone hydrogel lens that delivers high levels of comfort. Clariti™ allows 3.5 times the level of oxygen required for optimum ocular health, whilst the low modulus and exceptional wettability combine with a high water content to ensure outstanding levels of wearer comfort.
