Stars out in force for SWOTY spectacle

Celebrities lined up in force to attend last night’s Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year.

The event, held in London for the 20^th time, seems to be growing in attendance and tabloid column inches each year.

A selfie booth at the venue enabled those of lesser fame to fit in with the in-crowd too (see below).

Of the reality TV stars and celebrities on show, Anne Robinson of Weakest Link and Watchdog fame was one of the few to offer a real insight into the profession when welcomed on stage to collect her SWOTY prize.

‘I am really thrilled to be here,’ Robinson told guests, joking she was ‘the oldest woman on television not baking cakes’.
