The Big Optometry Blog goes to Worthing

Worthing is the next destination for a standard distance triathlon in the long summer of sport for Optician.

July 2 had initially been targeted for a return to the Fambridge Half Iron Triathlon following a DNFlast year. I won’t bore you with the details how it happened but Worthing became the new event.

This offers not just the prospect of a standard distance triathlon: 1,500m swim, 41km bike and a 10km run – half the distances of Fambridge, but it is also in Worthing. It’s not that I favour Worthing over the Dengie peninsular it’s just that it’s a lot closer and the distances are half those of Fambridge.
