This week the Foresight Project, a sector report looking at the impact of technology to 2030, was launched at a reception hosted by the Optical Confederation.
The 194 page document is by no means short of detail, but the upshot is that opportunities exist for those ready to embrace them. These include NHS commissioning, electronic health records, disease monitoring, mobile testing kits and 3D printing.
