During the school holidays we always see an increase in children being booked in for their sight tests, and the recent Easter break has been no exception.
As dismaying as it may be, patients do not necessarily understand the benefits of having regular sight tests, and many people believe that they only need to visit their optometrist when they struggle with their vision. By encouraging young patients to have regular sight tests, and explaining the assessments as we go, we can help create a good understanding of the importance of lifelong ocular care.
