Virtual mirror on your iPhone

Claiming that it has launched the first iPhone application for eyewear, Silhouette has created a virtual mirror application which allows glasses wearers to select the right Silhouette eyewear to ‘harmonise with their face.’

Focusing exclusively on rimless design, the application is free to download and is already running on the company’s main website at www.silhouette.com.

The new iPhone version of the application allows users to try on rimless eyewear at any time or location. The result, a portrait photo of the user with rimless eyewear, can be sent immediately by email to friends and family for feedback.

Users can try designs and colours in a virtual environment so they can form an initial impression of the real pair they will have professionally adjusted by an optician.
