Following on from the Gothic Tale thread - here's something closer to home for the GOC to get its teeth into: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-12312750 The X-Ray programme, to be aired in Wales tonight, went undercover in south-east Wales to show how easy it is to buy coloured contact lenses without supervision from fancy dress shops. It will be interesting to see if a court takes the defence of the manufacturers that 'these aren't lenses, they're polymer blanks or eye fashion accessories', seriously. Somehow I think the GOC might be able to convince them otherwise, what with them being contact lens-shaped and placed in the eye, in the manner of a contact lens.
