Biofinity Energys launched in UK

Contact lens manufacturer CooperVision has announced its monthly contact lens Biofinity Energys is now available to order in the UK & Ireland.

It has ‘Digital Zone Optics’ and moisture-retaining properties designed to alleviate the symptoms of digital eye fatigue.

A statement said more than 90 percent of adults use digital devices for more than two hours per day, resulting in seven in 10 experiencing symptoms of digital eye fatigue.

‘As a nation we rely on smartphones, tablets, laptops, in-car displays and other digital devices every day. Extended exposure to bright light, screen glare and longer periods of use can contribute to the issue of digital eye fatigue and symptoms can often be dismissed as “normal” by patients who have become used to a digital lifestyle,” said Coopervision UK & Ireland professional services manager Krupa Patel.
