Eye evolution animated by Essilor

Lens manufacturer Essilor has released an educational animated video about how the eye evolved based on the hypothesis of natural selection research.

Narrated by science teacher and filmmaker Alom Shaha, the short film outlines how each part of the eye has formed from simpler organisms. It has been produced to challenge the concept of irreducible complexity. The video also highlights the need to protect eyes against modern dangers such as over exposure to blue light.
