Lyndon Jones appointed professor at University of Waterloo

Dr Lyndon Jones has been appointed as a university professor by the University of Waterloo

Dr Lyndon Jones, director of the Centre for Ocular Research & Education (Core), has been appointed as a university professor by the University of Waterloo’s school of optometry and vision science in Canada.

Dr Jones, who was appointed a university research chair in 2012, is one of three faculty members to receive the designation in 2020 from the board of governors and joins 18 others who hold the title.

Stan Woo, director of the school of optometry and vision science at the University of Waterloo, said: ‘Lyndon brings a unique perspective and keen insights in conducting significant inter-disciplinary research with engineers, chemists and material scientists in both academia and industry.’
