Specsavers has installed OCT at its 900th practice in the UK and Ireland
Specsavers has installed optical coherence tomography (OCT) at its 900th practice in the UK and Ireland after its Selby site in Yorkshire added the technology to its offering.
The chain has achieved this landmark four years after it committed to a £35m investment to install OCT and provide training to all practice staff.
Mohammed Basharat, ophthalmic director at Specsavers Selby, said: ‘We are so pleased to be able to offer this technology to the Selby community and enhance the customer experience. The team have loved using it and the feedback from customers so far has been brilliant.’
