With policy changes emerging almost daily from the coalition government, drivers’ vision might be expected to have low priority for the road safety, transport and health sectors. Not so, according to the support that the profession has already received since the publication last month of proposals to relax rather than tighten vision standards for motorists in the UK (News 11.02.11 and News Focus 04.03.11).
