A new dedicated training centre with the capacity for 40 delegates was just one of the benefits that Heidelberg Engineering UK hoped a move to larger premises would bring.

The move to a Grade II listed building in Hemel Hempstead has allowed the independent supplier to enhance its help desk and support services as well as increasing warehouse capacity. It said the relocation was a result of increased demand for the German products over the past two and a half years.

‘The Heidelberg Academy is growing in strength and we have established a need for our own dedicated training centre,’ said Heidelberg UK general manager Krysten Williams. ‘Our peer review interpretation courses and user training days led by specialist consultant ophthalmologists will be held at our new centre and at a range of locations throughout the UK during 2014.’
