3D manufacturing software takes shape

A 3D printed eyewear manufacturing solution has been launched by Tech Print Industries (TPI) for frame companies or optical practices looking to develop their own creations.

TPI uses computer aided design software and a global network of 3D printing hubs to design and print on demand with no minimum order quantity.

The company said it could transform 2D eyewear designs into a printable 3D rendering four times faster than normal standards in a range of colours and textures.
