ABDO celebrates anniversary

Jubilee luncheon: To mark its 25th anniversary, the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) will hold a special silver jubilee luncheon at Plaisterers' Hall in London on May 6. ABDO has also confirmed that the Countess of Wessex will attend in her role as royal patron of Vision 2020 UK. The event will commemorate the Association's achievements over the past 25 years and provide an opportunity to acknowledge some of the people that have played a role in its development. ABDO is extending an invitation to all members of the optical profession and tickets are available at £95 for ABDO members or £125 for non-members.
