The Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers (ACLM) has announced that it will hold a training day next month for practitioners highlighting the main business issues facing optical practices.
The event will qualify for a total of five ABDO CET points and three College contact lens credits.
The six-module training day has been developed from the ACLMÕs year-long market growth initiative and will be held at Aston UniversityÕs Lakeside Centre on Monday February 4.
Association secretary Simon Rodwell said: ÔThe day is aimed at optical practice owners and managers and distils the essence of what is required to be more successful and innovative in contact lens prescribing using existing resources.
ÔIt will also be highly interactive, giving plenty of opportunity to look at specific issues as raised by the audience itself.Õ
