A series of new appointments have been made at Norville Opticians to prepare for the retirement of Barry Stygall (pictured right), who has been with the company for more than 30 years and most recently managed its Thornbury practice.
Stygall has been replaced by Daniel Read (left), who managed the Norville practice in Bishops Cleeve.
This sparked two other moves, with Bernie Lahiffe replacing Read and Sandra Wellfair replacing her at Charlton Kings.
Norville Opticians managing director Adrian Street said: 'Unless he wins the lottery Barry won't actually be retiring until November and until then we hope he will wind down gently by providing backup around the company.'
