The BCLA is conducting a major research project to determine attitudes to the Association and its services.
Surveys have been sent to 1,500 BCLA members and 4,000 non-members involved in contact lens work, with a deadline of return for June 20.
Members and non-members of all disciplines are asked what support services are important to them and how they rate current membership benefits. Areas covered include its conferences, courses and meetings, its journal, Fellowship scheme and email news services, as well as a range of potential new membership benefits.
An independent market research agency will analyse the results, which will be presented at a BCLA strategy meeting next month and be reported in the Contact newsletter.
Participants have the chance to win a full member package for its conference in Manchester next year.
