Proposals for a new British Contact Lens Association Fellowship scheme are to be revised and put to the Association's annual general meeting in Brighton this June.
Under the scheme, members of all disciplines - whether in practice, research or manufacturing - would be eligible to apply for the FBCLA if they gained the necessary points. Concerns expressed at the extraordinary general meeting in London last week (January 27) will be addressed in the revised proposal, which will be sent to all members.
The AGM takes place at 6pm on Friday June 3 at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel, during the Association's 2005 Clinical Conference and Exhibition (see page 22).
