The British Contact Lens Association has released details of its forthcoming annual presidential address in London.
BCLA president Shelly Bansal will present an evening lecture based on a recent Needs, Symptoms, Incidence, Global Eye Health Trends (NSIGHT), study which was commissioned by Bausch+Lomb. The lecture, approved for one general CET point, is entitled 'Black holes, revelations and expectations: an NSIGHT'.
The global NSIGHT study, conducted by independent market research firm Market Probe, surveyed 3,800 vision corrected patients on their satisfaction with contact lens use and trends in application.
The September 14 event will be held at the Royal Society of Medicine and is free for BCLA members to attend along with one guest each. Members have also been invited to join the president for dinner afterwards at a cost of £40 per head.
