Black & Lizars buoyed by anniversary events

Black & Lizars has continued celebrating its 185-year anniversary by hosting two anniversary events at its flagship practices in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The company, which has 24 practices in Scotland and one in Northern Ireland, invited members of the founding families and long-serving staff.

During its history, the firm claimed to have supplied cameras to tea magnate Sir Thomas Lipton and television inventor John Logie Baird, and photographic supplies for Queen Victoria and the Queen of the Belgians.
