Black & Lizars MD moves to Optical Express

Optical Express has appointed Black & Lizars managing director Geraldine Meade as its professional development director.

It followed several months of searching for the new role within Optical Express, to deliver CET to the multiple’s clinical and retail staff in the UK and Ireland, a statement said.

Meade has 25 years of experience in the optical industry, having progressed from optical advisor to chief operating officer and then managing director at Black & Lizars.

She said: ‘I’m extremely proud to be appointed professional development director at Optical Express and I’m relishing the opportunity to grow and develop my career within such a large company.
