The 2023 blind veteran group ready to march on Remembrance Sunday

Blind Veterans UK CEO Adrian Bell marched alongside 40 blind veterans on November 12, passing by the Cenotaph in London, to mark Remembrance Sunday.

The charity commemorated ‘the brave sacrifice of all those who lost their lives for their country and reflected on the challenges faced by veterans living with life-changing injuries from their time in service’.

‘Our group of blind veterans marching in London were led this year by Second World War veteran Dennis who, at 97, was our oldest veteran. Dennis carried a wreath and was joined by Mark, who, very sadly, was marching with us for the last time,’ said Bell.
