New children’s sports eyewear that meets global safety standards has the potential to boost access to sports for young people needing vision correction to participate.
Launching next month, a new five-strong range of Bollé Sport Protective eyewear for children has both European and American accreditation for sports including basketball, football, badminton and tennis.
The company said it was the first such prescription product for children to meet standards including EN 166 European approval. The product has certified markings on both the frame and lenses and an EN 166 guarantee would be supplied with the completed Bollé-glazed job.
