Sports eyewear manufacturer Bollé picked up a Silmo d’Or award in the sports category for its protective sports and Rx eyewear range for young athletes. Backed by international basketball player Tony Parker, the new range conforms to European and US standards of reference for eye protection in the area of sport, EN 166 and ASTMF 803, with or without prescription.

‘I have a lot of contact with young people and awareness-raising about eye protection is really important. I am truly happy and proud to put my name to this new range, now recognised by top professionals from the optical world with this fine Silmo d’Or award,’ said Parker, pictured with global Bollé sport protective product and marketing manager Alexandre Brachet and Emmanuel Hannebicque, global RX program manager.
